The Queen's-Trent Concurrent Education Program
The Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Teacher Education program is an exciting educational opportunity that provides students interested in a teaching career with a unique opportunity to experience life and learning at two of Canada’s finest universities. The Faculty of Arts and Science at Trent University (Peterborough, ON) and the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) have offered this partnership program since 1973.
The Queen’s-Trent Concurrent program offers an opportunity to explore the wide variety of course options and interdisciplinary study at Trent, the chance to couple those learning experiences with a full year of teacher education courses from Queen’s, and the ability to gain teaching experience in real classroom settings starting in the first year of the program. You will foster your natural inclination to teach, and learn how to guide and motivate the enquiring minds of all learners.
